Misty Garden Scarf

Scarf Style by Pam Allen
Jaeger Mohair Art, inkwell, 2 skeins
Knit on size 8 16" circular needles

This yarn was available at Elann.com. I know someone had knit Misty Garden with this yarn and for the price, it was a great deal. It also allowed me to try a lace pattern and knitting with mohair. I have to admit, the night I cast on I wasn't convinced that this was such a good idea. Mohair is a love it or hate it yarn anyway and here I was trying a new pattern with it (granted, it is a very easy lace pattern). I struggled to get a loose enough tension to K2TOG and then I ended up with the wrong number of stitches. I frogged the 5 rows I had completed and set it aside until the next day. I bumped up my needle size to an 8 and very consciously knit the stitches loosely. As you can see it all came together and Misty Garden is halfway done.
