Scarf Style by Pam Allen I initially bought one skein to practice with and to see if I liked knitting. I went back and bought a second skein so I'd have enough to actually make something with this yarn. Right now my plan is to try making some long, fingerless gloves with it. Change of plans! How about a Ruffles scarf instead? I think I'll like the fingerless gloves better in a heavy worsted weight yarn. Ruffles is a winner! I really like this pattern - it challenged me to learn a couple of new stitches yet with only 4 different rows it was easy to memorize. It's also expanded my ability to look at my knitted piece and see what row I should be doing based on the stitches in the previous row.
